desktop icons

I accidentally dragged a couple icons from the start menu to my desktop,
because I am not yet used to the sensitivity of the touchpad of my laptop.
Now I can't figure out how to move it back to the start menu, and since they
aren't shortcuts, they can't be deleted without deleting the actual file.

Hi Amanda,

Everything in the Start Menu is a shortcut.

This will show you how to find the actual program that the shortcut is associated to. It will be the Target path.

Shortcut Target Path Location

This tutorial will show you how to add the shortcuts back to the Start Menu (Normal).

Start Menu - Shortcuts

Hope this helps you,
Shawn
