Remote desktop in Vista Ultimate

I've recently started running Vista Ulitmate and I'm having an issue setting
up remote desktop.

I've used the XP version for years and have followed the same procedures
with Vista. However, after I input my computer details and my credentials, a
dialogue comes up reading "Your credentials didn't work. The credentials used
to connect to [mydomain] did not work. Please eneter new credentials."

Repeated attempts using the only administrator level credentials I have
continue to be rejected.

I'm behind a router and use a DDNS service (D-Link). Both are configured as
they were in XP Pro and worked properly.

I'm new to Vista and could sure use some help!

Thanks in advance,

LP

Re: Remote desktop in Vista Ultimate

Check this out, might provide some helpful answers:

Off the top of my head, is Remote Desktop checked as an exception in the
Windows Firewall Settings?
Under the Remote Desktop options (Systme Properties) is 'Allow connections
from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure) selected?
