Adobe Reader Vista Version?

Howdy,
Can't seem to d/l anything from the adobe site. All attempts lock up IE7
as if it's looking for the Vista version to d/l and not finding it?

TIA

Mike S

Re: Adobe Reader Vista Version?

I may be losing my mind, but I don't remember downloading
Adobe Reader. However, it's in Vista's program files.

The setup files are there too.

Must have been part of the Vista install.

Negative, ghostrider.

Adobe Reader 7.0x is downloadable, and it seems to work fine in x86 as well
as x64 of Vista 5384.

Re: Adobe Reader Vista Version?

It worked as far back as 5270, although there was a wierd rendering bug that
caused five or six of my programs to adopt the Adobe icon for themselves
after I installed AR7. Cute.

Re: Adobe Reader Vista Version?

I have the same problem, and I've responded to a few other posts about the
same thing. The topic seems to die quick, like no one else is having the
problem, but then someone else will start it again a few days later. I've
tried going to adobe.com and adobe.com/reader and get the same thing.
Doesn't actually LOCK UP IE7, as in, can go to a new site from there, but it
seems to be indefinately looking for where to go.

Does anyone have the reader installer that works on whatever version on
vista you have that's willing to throw it on a site somewhere for folks to
grab?
