What is i8042prt?

This is the error im getting every time i boot up,it`s only just started
happening.
It is a boot start or system driver failing to start,but what?

My System SpecsSystem Spec

Thank-you sir,i have an optical scroll mouse and in the bios it was set to
auto- detect,i changed it to enable and the error has gone away.once again
