two wifi networks

hi all

i have vista biz . can i connect to two wifi networks at the same time ?
how?

with the same card, no

you can have 2 wifi cards and use them as seperate newtworks YES...

but you cannot combine the speed of the internet of the 2 if these networks
are for interent.
(they may be just lan)

What if the OP had two WiFi adapters? Couldn't each one connect to a
different WiFi router? Seems like it should work as well as having two
network cards in one desktop computer. I'm just guessing here, but with USB
WiFi adapters so cheap, it could solve the OP's problem.

Yes, that works.

Just go into Network Connections>Advanced Settings
and put the connection you want to use for internet access
at the top of the list.

It wouldn't matter if you had two wireless NIC cards, because even if you
were simultaneously connected to two networks, only one is used at once. So
even if it's possible in theory, in practice it doesn't matter anyway.
