OT: Check this out - Leopard

Well, for those who claim Leopard is the next best thing in computing and it
beats the pants off Vista, have a look:

Well looking at the beginning install screenshot, it looks like they
definitely get multi-language right...unlike some other OS that mucks
around with language pack "extras" =)

Well I was tired last night so figured I'd missed something but frankly
I didn't see anything to criticize, besides which unless you plan to
reinstall the OS every day how much does anything matter?

Re: Check this out - Leopard

My point is, we need to stop with the double standard. Mac OS X faces
similar problems too and suspect the same for Linux.

*yawn* All operating systems can crash given the wrong circumstances. What
was your point again?

I'm running Leopard on my laptop and it's a big improvement on Vista IMO.
But then, so is Windows XP.

Re: Check this out - Leopard

I don't have anything against Leopard or Mac OS X in general, I believe its
a modern operating system that is well designed. I commend Apple for that.
What I don't like is the double standard, people who like complain how Vista
and XP constantly crash and hang when similar issues tend to occur on their
platforms of choice.

Re: Check this out - Leopard

Well said Andre. The vast majority of crashes are heat and hardware
related, the OS in question is of no consequence.

All hardware fails, all software has bugs.
