| | Re: Abit An-7 no sound? I have Vista Ultimate installed on two Asus A7N8X 2.0 Deluxe M/B. Works fairly nice. Sound is good using the drivers obtained from Windows Update on the first boot into the desktop. I also had problems with the mini plug connector on the rear of the M/B. A quick squirt of WD-40 on the plug, and about 5-6 insert/removal cycles solved the problem for me. The connectors become oxidized and have to be cleaned, especially if the connectors have been plugged in for a couple of years. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) "Len Cuff" <len.cuff@xxxxxx> wrote in message news e57i3dsk9ct1opggs8g4cpefo51gjr5g7@xxxxxxQuote: > On Sat, 27 Oct 2007 18:49:38 GMT, Len Cuff <len.cuff@xxxxxx> > wrote: > Quote: >>Just installed Vista on this mobo but get no sound at all?
