How to make Vista folder icons look like XP's


As you can see from the pic below, the yellow folder icons in Vista
"Computer" and "Registry" look the same no matter the folders are
expanded or collapsed. There is no distinction between an expanded
icon and a collapsed icon.

But back in Windows XP, the yellow folder is closed in collapsed state
while it will open when expanded.

Is there a way to make the yellow folders look like that in XP's ??

I don't know, but have you search Google? I know that Windows Blinds have
available options for customizing the look of folders.

Thank you Andre for your reply.

I did have searched Google but in vain. Just wanted to see if someone
here knows the trick on how to customize the folder icon from within
Vista. I know how to change the folder icons from small to bigger ones
but don't know how to make that small icons open and closed.
