MS - Detail View

I want to view all my folders in Vista in the Detail view; control panel,
file explorer etc...
Where and how can I change it.

From an Explorer window, hit 'Alt' (this makes the menu bar
visible), then select Tools -> Folder Options -> View Tab. There is
a button there to make settings universal (and as permanent as needs
be till you repeat that operation).
