Security problem

Hi i have just installed Vista.
I am having a security problem, I wish to replace my usbmdm.inf file in
/system32/DriversStore/FileRespository, but it will not let me! What
settings do I need to change, to allow me to do this?
The file is to allow my PDA to act as a modem, it worked ok with XP, but i
have to replace the above file to get it to work with vista.
Please reply to p_cleife@xxxxxx as well as here.
Thanks
Peter

You'll probably need to change the owner, I suspect it is just System at the
moment.

To do this right-click on the file, go to Properties and then Security, then
at the bottom click Advanced, then on the Owner tab you should be able to
change the owner to the administrators group.

Once that's done, ensure System still has full access to the file, but you
can allow the admin group to have write access too.
