| | VPC is fast if created on W2k and slow on Vista. Why? Machine 1) Athalon 1800+ with 1Gb RAM and W2k Machine 2) laptop 7500 Intel 2GB RAM and Vista Business If I create a VM for W2k in W2k machine it runs fine. If I create a VM for W2k in Vista machine it is unusable. Very choppy and slow. If I copy the VM I made from machine 1 to machine 2 it is fine. Why? What is the creation of the VM on the Vista machine doing to slow things up. And why does it work fine if it is copied. The only diff is VPC2004 on machine 1 and VPC2007 on machine 2. |
