| | Re: Index Score help Many here have said that adding more RAM does not necessarily improve your WEI score. The Index results are usually attributed to the component with the lowest score. The best recommendation is to upgrade components where there is a genuine need. The numbers to be honest can be misguiding at times and in some cases only influence consumers to upgrade when they don't need to. Is the laptop functioning properly otherwise? -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "techfreak243" <techfreak243@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:F645F01C-9A07-48FF-8DB6-E6973A9FCA8F@xxxxxx Quote: > My dad has a Vista Enetrprise Laptop for his work and he put in new RAM > and > when he checked for his new score, he went down to a 3.0 from a 3.1. > is there anything i can do to help him? > > > > > > > > > > > techfreak243 |
