| | Recycle bin refuses to come back to desktop Have read several threads on this subject. Tried to reclaim the recycle bin by making sure there is a check in the box, as directed by many of you. For me, that did not work. The Bin still does not show up on my desktop. So, how do I get it back? Once back, I will use the registry fix suggested by Ramesh S. |

| | Re: Recycle bin refuses to come back to desktop Did you try these ones from Ramesh Srinivasan (MVP) Right-click on the Desktop, click Personalize, and in the left pane, click Change desktop icons. In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog, enable the Recycle Bin checkbox. Click OK. | | RE: Recycle bin refuses to come back to desktop Problem solved: rebooted, and the bin re-appeared. Then downloaded the registry "hide delete" tweak, and all is well. Life is good. Let's stop bashing Vista and carry on with life. Neither Vista nor life are perfect but we'll get through it. And please, let's stop using Vista as an excuse to get into Hitler-bashing. Though he deserves the deepest part of hell, diatribes about him and his horrid crimes do not belong on this forum. "Mike F from TN" wrote: Quote: > Have read several threads on this subject.
