| | Windows media play is missing from AutoPlay After upgrading from XP Home to Vista Home Premium, the machine is missing all of the choices in AutoPlay that deal with aspects of Windows Media Player. Gone are: Play audio CD using Windows Media Player Rip music from CD using Windows Media Player So far we have tried: sfc/scannow which report no integrity problems download / reinstall WMP which will not install an older version over the installed version Also, Windows Media Player icons did not automatically setup after the install, so I went into the directory and ran the setup_wm.exe file How can I get the Window Media Player functionality back? |
