| | How to set 'compatibility' mode permanently? Vista Home Premium. I installed Winzip 9 because I own and like it. Much easier than using vistas built in zip functions. I've had to set compatibility mode to XP and run as Administrator to get vista to actually write winzips output to the hard disk. So how can I permanently enable this program to run as 'accepted' without the security dialog blocking it and wanting permission to continue? And for ALL the things that are going to be a constant, how can I enable the actions to be executed without the continual double, triple and quadruple security and UAC blocking dialogs? Things like renaming folders, creating new folders, moving files and folders. Common everyday things I am doing constantly. It was quite a surprise to discover a few minutes ago that 80 gigabytes of stuff I installed yesterday...isn't. Thanks, McG. |
