Flusing file system cache

Vista appears to use some sort of file caching, so that if for example you
copy a file and then copy it again, Vista uses a cached version of the file
to create the second copy, rather than reading the original.

Is there any way that I can force a flush of the cache so that the second
copy is created by re-reading the original file? (Apart from rebooting!)

Hi Michael,

Do you mean the Vista temporary files in the Temp folder? If so, then this tutorial will show you how.
