Windows Live Suite Download/Install

Is there a way for me to download the Windows Live Suite once (which is around 130MB), so that I can install it across multiple computers on my network without having to run the installer stub and have it download again each time on the computer to which I'm installing it?

Hi Dzomlija,

You can find the information here for the individual MSI downloads for each Windows Live program.

Re: Windows Live Suite Download/Install

Not tried it but, if it's the same as the beta you should be able to grab the msi installers once installed on the first machine from

%systemroot%\Syswow64\config\systemprofile\AppData\
Local\WindowsLiveInstaller\MsiSources

then run the ones you want on each machine.

Here is the thread when we were playing with the beta, it might help WLM 8.5 on Vista 64??

Re: Windows Live Suite Download/Install

Hello,

the MSI installers are cached in this folder (this is the path for XP but it
must be similar for Vista)

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Local Settings\Application
Data\WindowsLiveInstaller\MsiSources

you can install any part of the live suite seperatly if you want

Shawn,

I think you've done a great job with your site.
However, at the link below you state this;

Windows Live Suite Downloads
<quote>
Windows Live Betas :
NOTE: There are currently no betas available as of 11-06-2007.

*All* those programs that are listed after going to the
website are still beta.

LOL Michael,

They must have updated that link with some new betas overnight.
Before, it was just displaying information about the new just out of beta programs with no download options. Thank you for pointing this out. I have updated the site.
