I cannot seem to play DVDs on my WMP 11 on Vista. I have install WMP11 on
another XP machine and it works fine. WMP11 will restart on occassions or
just freeze. Is this a known bug?

Could be a problem with the Vista driver for DVD drive, or you might need an
MPEG decoder on the Vista machine.

Why do I need to install another piece of software? WMP 11 should be able to
play DVDs? It's like buying a car and being told that it doesn't come with
the tires.

My dad bought many brand-new cars without radios. Windows still does not
includr the proper codec for DVD playback. Let them know how you feel using
the "Feedback" method.
