| | Re: Cell phone sync software Which brand cell phone is this and could you describe the model? Have you checked the maufacturers website for information on software for Windows? Most cell phones come with their own Syncing tools or if they are using software such as Windows Mobile they will sync with the built in Windows Mobile Device Center. My Motorola e398 uses the Motorola Mobile Phone Tools software from BVRP. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "Jst2swt" <jst2swt4@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:fh0l69$al6$1@xxxxxx Quote: > is there a vista compatible cell phone sync software out there yet? i > bought a cable, but can't find any software ![]() |

| | Re: Cell phone sync software I have an HP Ipac smartphone. I know that Vista doesn't use Active Sync, but uses Mobile Device Center. The instruction on their site can be found here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...c/default.mspx The first time I installed Vista, I went back to XP because I couldn't get my phone to sync up with MDC even though the iPac is listed as a Vista compatible device, but this time around SP1 was available so I installed that and all associated updates, followed the directions at the link above and everything is working great. I hope this helps "FuzzyRev" wrote: Quote: > > Looking for LG VX9900 software for x64 Vista software to sync; any > suggestions?
