| | Lock the taskbar greyed out I know I have stuffed this up somehow, but can't think how... the fact that I installed Vista Ultimate over XP Pro seems to have done it. I can not unlock my taskbar, the feature is greyed out.... please help before I completely lose my mind...I don't have grey hair yet but I can feel a bunch growing as I type!!! -- If ignorance is bliss I am one happy soul! |

| Vista Ultimate 32 bit and 64 bit | Re: Lock the taskbar greyed out Try this: Open the registry (Type Regedit in the RUN box) Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer] Look for DWORD value "LockTaskBar" and it will probably be 1 which makes the item greyed out Change it to 0 (zero) |
