New email can't find contacts

Hi,

I've just got Vista Ultimate 64 and Office 2007. Did the file transfer ok.

Went to write an email today and when I clicked on the address book there
wasn't one! Seems funny cos all my contacts imported cos they're all
displayed on the pretty little cards when I open the Contacts window!

Any ideas what I've missed??

Many thanks

Paul

Re: New email can't find contacts

I believe that your issue can be resolved by following the steps in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287563. Let us know how you made out.

Re: New email can't find contacts

Martin,

When I get to checking the 'Use this folder as an email address book, it's
greyed out and un-selectable.

Similarly, when I found in Outlook help 'Contacts are missing when I click
the To, Cc, or Bcc buttons' response and it says to reset the address book by
removing it...the 'Remove' is greyed out too.

Not really sure where to go now!.....

Re: New email can't find contacts

There's a KB for that issue too. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/197577.
How do you like Outlook 2007 now? =]

Re: New email can't find contacts

Martin,

I'd just found that one before I got your reply!

However....I can't see any link called 'mail' in the User accounts in the
control panel in either the vista or classic mode....

haven't got an option called 'Services' on my Outlook Tools menu either....

Why do I feel a re-insall coming on?? !!! lol
