Vista Service Guides--Stop Services/Processes you don't need

Vista Beta 1 Service Guide: Part 1

Vista Beta 1 Service Guide: Part 2

Google or search engine processes you don't know. If you don't have a MCE
PC, you sure as hell don't need 3 MCE processes running in Vista. Despite
the hype and the name in the wake of the Superman movie, you're not going to
notice a lot of difference if you trun off search indexing, the security
center, and "superfetch" services. If you want super, I wouldn't turn to
Vista. I haven't run accross anything to merit the accolade "super" in
Vista unless it's a softie cheerleading. Go see the movie.

Enjoy.
