| Guest | Re: Live messenger crash faulting module msvcr80.dll I had this problem. I did not find the cause, but I find a work around. At the begin of Vista usage it works. Then, I suppoused the problem was from some installed program. If you do not start messeger with windows and wait boot to complete and then start messenger, it works. Then I beleave it need some module pre-loaded and this module was not loaded when I set it to start with Windows now. Probabily due increased number of programs starting with windows, making initial load slow. If you say that starting by hand is not a good solution, there are some utility to delay start - see one at www.r2.com..au - to do that. It make messeger to work and make boot more usable. Longer, but the machine became usable quickly due enqueeing of startup keep resource free to you start using. -- Julio Botelho ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Julio Botelho's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/julio-botelho.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/850716.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
