Windows Explorer - resizing

Hi

for the life of me I cant figure out how to have Windows Explorer 'open' in
th e size I want it to.

I have a 19" widescreen monitor and I want Explorer to open in a pre-set
piece of real estate. It either opens in full screen or in a 6"x6" format.
If I drag the borders to get it to the size I want and shut it down, it
re-opens 6"x6"....with WinXP it would 'hold' the settings I wanted.

Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Rgds
Rod

Suggested by Shawn:
You will need to reset the folder view settings. Look at method two in
this tutorial for how to do it. The download will be the easiest way.
This will allow Vista to remember your settings as you last left them.

Hold Shift key while closing open folder or the explorer window.
