Vista Media Center

Media Center cannot find any pictures. When I click on "picture library" it
displays all my folders correctly but when I select a folder it just reports
todays date and "0 Items".
Most of my pictures are .jpg

Re: Vista Media Center

Thanks Andre, but looks a bit risky to me in case I mess anything up (when
you are well in your 60's with no previous computing knowledge it's a bit
scary to start changing things) - besides, I don't know where the registry is
- I thought it was the office in the local town where you get married!!!. I
think that I can live without Media Centre until Microsoft comes up with a
version of Vista that works - If I live that long.
Bit like a problem with running the slide show in Windows Photo Gallery.
Variously it will freeze with a blank screen, or show a couple of pictures
and then freeze - when it freezes task manager does not know it is even there
but when I close task manager WPG closes as well. Yet when I click on slide
show in Explorer, what looks like WPG slide show runs perfectly, smooth show
with good colour and detail.
Thanks again
Frank
