Vista - how do I use Vista Microsoft mail while travelling?

I'm a Merchant Marine and never in the same place long. Do I need to find the
POP3, SMTP code everywhere, with every different ISP? ( airports, coffee
shops, etc) My current ISP is Quest and I use Yahoo for email, but I start
travelling tomorrow. I haven't even found Quest's info yet.
Any help for a sailor out there?

When traveling it is easiest to use one of the web based email services such
as Hotmail, Yahoo Mail etc.

This way you can get your email from any place you can connect to the
internet.

You can get a Gmail account and use that to send with. Keep your regular
mail server to receive email.

Many ISPs that offer POP accounts also have web based accounts for people
that travel. I have Time Warner Roadrunner and can check mail at home and
also anywhere there is access to the Internet. Call your ISP and see if they
offer one.
