| Windows Vista x64 Ultimate | Re: Vista 64 bit market share If it is your intention to use this information to decide whether to use 32-Bit or 64-Bit Vista, then may I make a suggestion? Invest in 64-Bit now, because that's is where the market is headed. Unless Microsoft changes their "roadmap", the next release of Windows (Windows Seven) will be available in both 32 and 64-Bit versions, although that may change. Whatever follows that will only be 64-Bit. |

One of the many reasons OEM costs less than retail. The sheer number of improvements in performance and reliability that x64 has over 32-Bit are staggering! At the risk of sounding unprofessional: Vista x64 Rocks! |

For the Palm, I can still hotsync via bluetooth if desired. At the moment I am able to sync both against a 32-bit Vista installation under VMWare, so that keeps me happy enough. This is on a fairly modern system which I built specifically for Vista, but did not factor in 32 vs 64 at all, I originally had no intentions of going to 64-bit, so that wasn't a deciding factor when purchasing components. A need for additional RAM prompted the upgrade, and I couldn't be happier. |
