Visual Studio 2008

I have been trying to install it on my desktop, new, but it won't go. It
says that I need Windows XP SP 2. I tried Professional and regular, and both
said the same thing. I even tried an official disk, and it still said the
same thing. So, I decided to try it--installing Windows XP--after backing up
my computer! That disk said I had the wrong OS! Now, I don't know what to
do--except bug Microsoft until they respond. I am sorry about that,
everybody. I'll start it now...

Re: Visual Studio 2008

The last time I checked, Visual Studio 2008 is still in beta and some of the
kinks are still not worked out. Even when its launched in February of 2008,
it will still not be ready. I recommend you report the issue to appropriate
group handing the Visual Studio BETA Program.

Well it works fine on Vista for me, but that doesn't help you very much!

Have you tried the virtual PC they released?
