Transfer Back

Can Widows Transfer in Vista be used to go back to XP

No, if you want to go back to XP, you have to use a Windows XP CD to
reinstall it.

I only want to transfer the files, settings and mail etc back to XP not the
program.

The new laptop I bought came with a full XP version and full Vista version
on DVD.

I doubt it, you could try using the old migwiz.exe from XP to see it would
work.

You could use PCMover (a Laplink program) to transfer whatever you wanted
back to your XP system.
