Command Prompt; Start-Run

I was going to help somebody with her laptop, and I looked for something,
and it wasn't there and I suddenly realized I needed help, too. What in the
heck was Microsoft thinking? Now everybody who owns a PC has to be
retaught? This is progress?

Type whatever you want to run into
Vista's Start Menu (Orb) Search bar,
press enter.

Type cmd into the same bar, press enter.

RE: Command Prompt; Start-Run

I know where you are coming from!

Start(ORB!) > Programs > accessories> comand, run, etc.

You can still put a shortcut to it in the menu.

Sounds like a cheap restaurant!
