Host Process Service

Recently had to re-initialize my system due to a catastrophic disk failure
and subsequent replacement. Now getting "Host Process Service for Windows"
has been shut down error. DEP is shutting it down. This happens every couple
of hours. How serious is this problem and any ideas as to how to resolve.
their's one KB article that's close relating to corrupted BITS that doesn't
resolve the issue.
