Hey guys ive been working on this for a while but can't figure it out. Im
trying to turn on Internet Connection Sharing on my laptop that has wireless
internet. When i right click on the connection and go to properties-sharing
and click on the box to enable ICS it gives me the error message "An error
occured while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled." Since this
doesnt work i tried to go to RUN-SERVICES and enable it from there but when i
click start it tell me that "The internet connection sharing (ICS) service on
Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if
they are not in use by other services or programs." Anyone have a clue as to
what is wrong here and why i can't turn it on? Thanks!

just want to say that I have the same problem, everything you described.
I've seached everywhere looking for a solution but can't find any. I just
don't know what to do next. If I find an answer I'll get back to you.

How are the other computers you are trying to share the internet connection
connected to your laptop?

I only have the mothercomputer and 1 computer that is wireless. I wanted to
pull an ethernet cable from the wireless laptop to my xbox 360. I was on the
phone with the guys from microsoft for OVER 2 HOURS and they couldn't figure
it out. They are working on the problem right now and are gona call me back
monday between 2-5 so well see if they can get me a soulution.
