WMP11 (Vista) and Library Issues (Monitored Folders)

Hello,

I've a large Itunes library of MP3's on my HDD (NTFS). When I add that
folder to the Libray 'monitored folders', WMP11 library only seems to show
certain recently added files.

If I copy my library to another drive (FAT32) then I can see all the files.
I thought that it might be a permission issue, but I've given full control
to all the groups on the folder. Also why would some of the files be seen
but not all?

I want to migrate away from Itunes and use Media Connect to steam Audio to
my Roku Soundbridge as MediaConnect is faster to browse and it runs as a
service (so I don't need to run a program like Itunes all the time).

I am storing my original library on a compressed volume, but I can't see why
that would make a difference as I can see some items in my root folder (some
recently added files).

All my files are MP3 DRM free and have been ripped from my CD collection.
Am running Vista 32 Ultimate with all updates applied.

Any help would be gratefully received as this is driving me nuts!

Best Wishes,

Adrian
