| | Cannot open one specific word document. There is one specific word2000 document I cannot open. It shows "requesting virus scan" indefinitely and nothing happens. All the other word2000 documents open normally. What can I do? Thanks in advance, Gerhard |

Thanks in advance, Gerhard But regardless of which AV program you are using, go into its settings and if possible, turn off the Microsoft Office plugin. Unless the file itself is corrupted, you should be able to open it. |

| | Re: Cannot open one specific word document. Use your Antivirus program to run a scan on the document or in the directory where it is located. It may clean the file, but its not guaranteed.
