Remove force run as administrator

Somehow, Mozilla Firefox requires that it be run as an administrator whenever
I open it now. It never used to before. How can I make it so it doesn't
require elevation when I open it now?

Re: Remove force run as administrator

Right click the Firefox executable, click Properties > Security (tab) >
check 'Run as administrator' box > click OK.

Hi Dan,

Just right click the shortcut or .exe file for Firefox. and uncheck the "Run as administrator" box.

Re: Remove force run as administrator

Likely a plugin that you've installed is requiring elevated privileges.
Disable any recently installed ones.
