Vista - Screen saver not working

I set my screen saver to come on with bubbles after 3 minutes but it
never does.

If I preview in the screensaver setup it works fine.

I did read that wireless keybourds can cause this and I have one but I
didn't find a solution.

Are there any other reasons?

Any help appreciated.

Go to Windows Update and apply the following patch..

Microsoft - Other Hardware - HID Non-user Input data
filter

It doesn't give me the option and if I check my update history it is
not installed. It says Windows is up to date.

The keyboard isn't a Microsoft keyboard.

Any ideas?
