| | Constant network access - from svchost via wufdsvc ? Hi, I had the exact same symptom of nonstop network drive access automatically after bootup. this showed up after setting up a NAS to house user files (user\documents, etc). chased down the syncing issue and all finding it not to be the culprit. I killed the process tree thread of svchost that appeared to be the culprit, and the access stopped. It returned after maybe 5 minutes. Have you unconvered anything else about this symptom? I did find that wudfsvc is "Windows Driver Foundation - User -mode Driver Framework" It shows up i the services under this name, but cannot be stopped. thanks kperkins EggHeadCafe - .NET Developer Portal of Choice http://www.eggheadcafe.com |
