| | How to delete this log file? For some reason vista created an ntuser.dat log 2 file it has 0kb and doesn't look like it's needed for anything. So here is my question how do i delete this log, because i can't delete it normally so where abouts is this file in the registry to remove it? thanks. |

It is a system file, used by Windows to maintain the user profile (Ntuser.dat). Updates to profiles are written transactionally, ntuser.dat.log1/2 is the transaction log for these updates.
