Is there a problem with Limewire and Vista?

I downloaded Limewire a while back with no problems until I purchase and
install S & D spybotware. After the scan it booted Limewire. I spoke to a
tech and fixed that. After redownloading Limewire I wasn't able to make a
connection.I've tried all the suggestions given by Limewire and Spybot. Now
I'm hoping someone here can help me

Thank You,
Connie

I have no idea what you have tried, but try uninstalling, rebooting, then
right click on the limewire installer and choose Run As Administrator.
If you have a third party firewall or security suite, that is probably
stopping the connection.

My brother had a similar problem on his Vista Business installation with
Limewire, I simply reinstalled Limewire over the existing version and it
started working again.
