My recycle bin is missing

It was accidentally deleted from the desktop and I would prefer if I could
get it back there. Or knew where it was.

Re: My recycle bin is missing

You probably deleted it by mistake, by clicking on "Delete", rather than on
"Empty Recycle Bin".
Right-click on the desktop, select "Personalize"
on the Left side, click on "Change desktop Icons"
check Recycle Bin
OK

Hi TheMemphisE,

Like the others' solutions here, this tutorial will show you how to get the Recycle Bin icon back on the desktop.

Desktop Icons

Sometimes when it is deleted, it will show as full even though you emptied it. Even the other way around. If you find yourself having this refresh problem after restoring the icon, then this tutorial will show you how to fix it.

Re: My recycle bin is missing

Right-click on the Desktop, click Personalize, and in the left pane, click Change desktop icons. In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog, enable the Recycle Bin checkbox. Click OK. See also:
