    Yes, and all I get is cheap looking software. I figured that there might be
    a better looking one that is compatible with Vista.

    I got 1,450,000 hits, one of them HAS to be what you're looking for!

    Otherwise try searching Google Groups to see if someone has asked the
    same question before on one of the archived newsgroups and received an
    answer.

    I use Print Shop Pro, Hallmark Card Studio and even Microsoft Publisher and
    Corel Draw X3.

    I'm with Andre on this one. Hallmark Card Studio is good for starters, but is limited. This does remain the suite of choice for many because of it's extremely easy to use interface.

    Thats where Microsoft Publisher comes in. It is fairly advanced but comes with the usual easy to use familiarity that is common to many Microsft applications.

    Corel Draw X3 will require a bit of learning, and the results are limited by nothing but your own imagination. I use Corel Draw X3, combined with the photo editing prowes of Corel Paint Shop Pro 11.
