A New Problem I am Having with Build 5308 CTP: No Programs will install on
it (Except MBC)!

Disable UAP:
http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.p...ity/disableuap
and also ensure that the applications are running in XP SP2 compatibility
mode if necessary.

This issue only existed in my two most recent Build 5308 CTP installs, so
therefore I have filed a Bug Report on it.

This information is really off the ball, I use standard Admin account Vista
and I have never had to disable UAP to send in a report or set anything to
XP Compatibility mode. It possible that MBC is just experiencing technical
difficulties at the moment or he needs to simply update the client or
reinstall it.

(except MBC which installs just fine on Build 5308 CTP, otherwise I would

Kevin, stop filing bugs, because they will just be ignored anyway. You have
to be in the technical beta program. Microsoft has a select group of testers
for feedback on Vista and Longhorn Server.
