Vista Home Premium Language Change

Hello,

I have recently purchased a PC in Germany (where I live). Unfortunately, my
German is terrible and I am having a hard time translating all the messages.
I owuld like to change the Language to English.

I have read that unless you have Vista ultimate or Enterprise, I am out of
luck unless I buy an upgrade for another 200 Euros! The free Language packs
available do not offer Enlgish.

But I have also read that when you first install the OS (when I first turned
on my new PC), I should have the option to select the language. Does anyone
know if this is true? Nonetheless, I did not get any DVDs or CDs with the PC.
However, I have created the recovery CDs. Does anyone know if I do a recovery
if it will allow me to change the language?

Thanks.

Re: Vista Home Premium Language Change

No, for additional language interfaces, you will need the Ultimate Edition
of Windows Vista.

RE: Vista Home Premium Language Change

Look up "language" in help for your options.
