Vista Tutorial - Yahoo jukebox, Skype access to internet

I have an HP laptop with Vista home premium and access the internet via a
wireless DSL router. I can no longer access the net with either my Yahoo
jukebox or Skype software. Jukebox was working up until a couple weeks ago
until I did a yahoo requested upgrade. Now it says it can't access internet,
connectivity lost. I thought it was a yahoo problem. A couple of days ago I
upgraded my Skype software and now it has no web access. My Outlook email
access works fine. IE7 web access for the most part works fine. One online
email site had problems but when I stopped IPv6 access (as I learned here) it
seems to work fine. I've tried disabling my firewall and also deleting,
re-enabling the program access and it makes no difference. I just got a Skype
standalone phone/router and plugged it into the same wireless router and it
accesses fine so I don't think it's my wireless router.

Hass anyone seen this, can point me in the right direction? Thx.
