Windows Resume Loader

Loaded vista home premium onto my hard drive succesfully ( 64 bit ). Everything was going great until i tried to install a tv tuner. I powered off, installed it, and tried to boot the sytem. In its initial boot, it froze at a black page with the blinking dash at the top left. I shut it off manually. Powered off and took the tuner out, and when i try to reboot the system it keeps going to this error page and freezes. It doesnt allow me to to do anything, it completely freezes here. I can access my bios. All the voltages are good and my motherboard recognizes my hard drive.

I was told to change the boot sequence so that i could re install vista. I did so, changing my boot sequence to cd-rom and then hard disk. Nothing happened after i saved this and rebooted. It keeps going to the..

Windows Resume Loader error page which is in white and black. I have no idea what to do other than test out my hard drive on another computer. Thing is, i dont have another computer and everyone i know has a laptop.

Could someone please help me out, im quite desperate here.

I can't say that I ever heard of a screen called "Windows Resume Loader".

Perhaps you mean the scren that is displayed if windows is not correctly shutdown, or the one that displays if there was a failure of sort during the previous startup.

Are you able to boot into Safe Mode?

No, im not able to enter safemode either.

the Windows Resume Loader page is in black and white.

It freezes everytime it gets to that page. It looks displaced since its shifted to the left and that covers some of the letters of the initial words.

This likely either the monitor, or the graphics card. Since a faulty monitor can hardly cause a system lockup, you should try to use another graphics card. If you're using an onboard display, try inserting a graphics card into the AGP slot or PCI-Ex slot.
