| | colour scheme so, i'm having this weird problem, i can't change my colour scheme, when i click on the change colour scheme ,windows opens this apearance settings window, without all the icons etc to choose from. so instead of loading the colour scheme page in the same window as the control panel etc he opens this new apperance settings window. not a huge problem but i'l stuck with this stupid blue color,(which vista changed to itself) and i hate it. so if anyone knows a solution , i would be véééry grateful. thanx jeremy |

| | Re: colour scheme Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator". Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key. If that does not work, try repairing your system. Boot from your Windows Vista DVD, select the System Repair Option > on the setup screen, select 'Repair Computer > Select your installation of Windows > select Startup Repair option and follow instructions. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "jeremy" <jeremy@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:E6258FDD-860C-4B61-AEFF-A6CC89C1D73C@xxxxxx Quote: > so, i'm having this weird problem, i can't change my colour scheme, > when i click on the change colour scheme ,windows opens this apearance > settings window, without all the icons etc to choose from. so instead of > loading the colour scheme page in the same window as the control panel etc > he > opens this new apperance settings window. not a huge problem but i'l stuck > with this stupid blue color,(which vista changed to itself) and i hate it. > so > if anyone knows a solution , i would be véééry grateful. thanx > jeremy |
