| Guest | Bandwidth I have a question about downloading. When I download using a news server (such as Giganews) and am using their bandwidth to download music, movies, videos, etc. via my newsreader.... does the bandwidth I use from my news server register with my ISP. Does a 4 gig download from my my news server equate to a 4 gig download from my ISP? I am connected to my news server from my ISP. So it seems that I am using the same amount of bandwidth from the ISP as I am from my news server. Thanks. Sorry about being off topic but I didn't know where else to post this. |

| Guest | Re: Bandwidth Hi, Anything you get from any internet sources goes through your ISP's lines and uses the bandwidth they have leased to you. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Dick Tater" <Jr@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:uOYTj54NIHA.3916@xxxxxx Quote: >I have a question about downloading.
