| | Problem with pictures in Windows Contacts Hi! I'm using Windows Contacts for managing my contacts, and I'm encountering a problem. A few months ago I already added some pictures to my contacts and they were embedded into the .contact file (Base64 encoded I think). Now when I want to add a picture to a contact, the picture is not embedded into the .contact file. There's just a "link" to the image (for example, D:\avatar.png) in the file, which is a problem because I want to delete the picture files after I added them to my contacts. How I add pictures: 1. I go to the contacts folder in Windows Explorer 2. I double-click on the contact I want to change 3. On the "Name and E-Mail"-tab, I click on the empty picture and select "Change picture" 4. I select the picture I want to use and press OK I really have no clue what's the cause of this, Google doesn't know either. Any help is appreciated.
