| | Re: putting multiple files together to form one file I'm pretty sure there is a way to merge files, but I can't recall it at the moment. One way (Office 2007 instructions): Open the first document (the one that'll be at the front of the booklet). Click on Insert (what used to be pulldown menus at the top of the document. Now it opens into a "ribbon.") On the far right of the ribbon is a box labeled "text." Inside that box is a choice labeled "object" with a down arrow next to it. Click on the arrow and choose "text from file." File the file that would be next in the booklet and choose it. That should put the contents of that file after the contents of the first file. Go to the end of that text and do the same process looking for the third file for the booklet. Rinse, lather, repeat. Also, you might get better advice in an Office newsgroup. | Windows Vista x64 Ultimate | Re: putting multiple files together to form one file While this is perhap not a Vista issue, I will endeavour to help as far as I can, but you may have better luck getting the answer if you were to post your question to a Microsoft Office related forum or newsgroup. |

| | Re: putting multiple files together to form one file In Microsoft Word 2003 and older, you can use the Insert > File feature, select the file you would like to add to the document and the text will be imported from an existing Word file or RTF file selected. In Word 2007, the Insert File command has been renamed Text from File and moved to the Object menu on the Insert tab in Microsoft Office Word 2007. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "npille" <npille4@xxxxxx(donotspam)> wrote in message news:A49C6FA0-5BB3-4911-A228-F18ADEC7FD1F@xxxxxx Quote: >I have 64 separate files(documents) which I am trying to put together into > one file. > As for a booklet.
