| | lines on my computer i haves vertical lines running don the screen of my computer and it's bugging me because i can't see everything on my screen. Do u no any thing tht could be causing this problem and how can solve it? |

| Windows Vista x64 Ultimate | Re: lines on my computer It could be elctrical interference from a nearby appliciance. But is more likely the monitor itself. Try plugging in a different monitor to see if the problem goes away. |

| | Re: lines on my computer Probably a hardware failure which would need servicing by a qualified technician. Or perhaps a bad cable/loose cable connection. If that doesn't fix it, I would recommend borrowing a friend's monitor to see if it makes the problem go away. If it does, replace the monitor. I sure hope you meant "throw away" in the figurative sense. The proper thing to do is to drop a defective monitor off at a recycling center. |
